Our Programs

We focused on 4 primary areas that call for action:

  1. Education: We provide tuition-free computer training and capacity-building courses, imparting the skills and knowledge essential for thriving in the digital age.
  2. Scholarship programs: Through sponsorships, donations, and partnerships, GITL secures Tech BSc. and Master scholarships for women interested in technology, reducing the gender gap in academic and professional pursuits.
  3. Entrepreneurship: We developed a social entrepreneurship model, offering QuickBooks and IT maintenance services to sustain tuition-free tech training for women and girls, ensuring empowerment and financial independence without relying on donor funds.
  4. Advocacy and Sensitization: We conduct impactful advocacy and sensitization activities, raising awareness on gender equality and women’s empowerment in STEM through various campaigns, events, and community engagements. Our efforts aim to increase female representation in the STEM sector.
